Ease off the throttle and look for something soft while maintaining control as best as you can.
It's true to a point. A blowout on a steer wheel (the fronts) is best compensated by mashing the throttle and steering correctly. They showed a few videos about a trucking class in California that did controlled steer wheel blowouts when I went through CDL class.
