Greenwell, especially, is a big loss. A corporate mandate to “stick to sports,” for a site that has only ever been, at most, tertiarily about sports, is not a great look.

This moment was sort of a synecdoche for the O"s entire game today.
Mostly missing. We call him "Murray the Stump"
I learned what it feels like to almost break my nose, for sure.
No Gretsch? Why do you hate guitars?
This is good but also I eternally curse it for altering the last line (from the story) into something totally at odds with what it was meant to be.

Yeah it was not a good week.
I barely remember seeing this film, unfortunately, because I watched it on DVD within a day or two of watching Todd Solondz’s “Happiness,” and my hatred for that other movie has utterly obliterated any fondness I might have had for Magnolia.
I read a short story recently, -maybe by China Mieville?- with a similar premise. It centers around a therapist who murders people who are traumatizing her patients. It’s told more as a joke than this movie seems to be.
Got our first foster placement, a newborn, last week, and in the negotiations over future kids, my wife got the football team (the Bills) and I got the baseball team (the Os)
Thalidomide.
If we’re going to have one of the worst seasons in recent Baltimore memory, I’m glad it’s also one of the weirdest. Lot of rare events popping up this year.
Shit. This is great.
Yeah I should have included a caveat that the inversion only applies to off-field performance.
