It depends on the group. Some of it is just instinctual over-caution and concern about people throwing Nazi comparisons around. Doesn’t mean it was the right move, as in the JCRC-NY’s case for example, but you’d have a hard time calling them Trump supporters at an organizational level.

Yeah. The JCRC-NY’s is not in bad faith, but it was questionable and misguided. They are taking a bunch of flak for it (from myself included) and some of their member groups such as Workmen’s Circle are calling them out and distancing themselves from the statement.
