Also one of the bloodiest battles of the Great War. Really terrible, that.

Holy crap. I was like “No, that can’t be right, surely it would be in the arti... well slap my momma, you’re right.”
Hey it’s cool that they got Natalie Portman to play MJ here!
It depends on the group. Some of it is just instinctual over-caution and concern about people throwing Nazi comparisons around. Doesn’t mean it was the right move, as in the JCRC-NY’s case for example, but you’d have a hard time calling them Trump supporters at an organizational level.
Also, Mike Godwin (of Godwin’s Law fame) has said that yes, they are concentration camps and it’s appropriate to call them that.
Yeah. The JCRC-NY’s is not in bad faith, but it was questionable and misguided. They are taking a bunch of flak for it (from myself included) and some of their member groups such as Workmen’s Circle are calling them out and distancing themselves from the statement. I’ve been after URJ to do the same, so here’s hoping.
As long as we’re venting annoyance about losing what-might-have-been, I was pretty excited at the possibility of Matt Cable being a back-door into Sandman.

Worst union PR flacks: Umps or FOP?
And honestly that’s what hurt me most about the Snyder Superman. You can bend a lot of his rules and push him pretty hard, but to end on such a bleak and sucky note is really a betrayal of the intent of the character. He’s an optimist! He’s the hope that always finds a way!
And the shiny ones are considered much more valuable
Man, Henry Wu really took a heel turn didn’t he? Or maybe he was always a heel?
I know that the film Tomorrowland was a huge flop, and I was probably one of like six people who saw it, but... it kind of had a point. Maybe we could do away with doom-and-gloom dystopias for a while? Maybe take a cue from Depression-era media and start throwing book deals and Hollywood money at some optimistic IPs?
I would but they’d probably be too disgusted to talk to me about it.
As a Mets/O’s dual-citizen, I concur completely with this sentiment.
Leaving aside my eternal smoldering hatred of the Yankees, just...
