That is where you are wrong, that space in the cabin is owned by the airline, we’ve been reminded of that recently. Their are certain rights people give up by WILLINGLY participating in certain activities. When interacting in a public space with fellow humans you are rolling the dice.

I might feel more strongly about this if the seat went back further than 5 degrees. But I’m just as uncomfortable as 85 degrees as I am at 90, so I leave it up.
