Everyone who gripes about the books vs. the show seems to forget Feast. Having just re-read it, it is hard for me to forget.

I’ve got no horse in this race as I’m not the target customer (HomeKit not being compatible with Z-Wave systems makes it a non-starter for me), but a simple cost comparison is unfair. Echo isn’t a quality speaker and Sonos isn’t a smart one. This presumably checks both of those boxes.

I saw this as about as big of a GoT fan as you’ll find, and I spent the weekend starting a re-watch from S1. The first couple of seasons: SO MUCH EXPOSITION.
