I mean, it was the Hawaiian National Guard. I’m sure they primarily fly over the ocean.

I’m sure if I defended Reagan as President here, I’d get mocked.

TI and the Internet. We didn’t have both in my day :P

No offense to Brittany Curran, who as done a lovely job on The Magicians this season, but I’m still irritated at the recasting, especially in light of the promotion. I’ve been a fan of Laci Mailey in everything she’s done.

Control-F “Code-word” ... no results. What?

This is where I was too; my first reaction was just that she was being raised by Vulans.

I don’t think the lawsuit settlement will move the needle at all.

No, Germain, he’s really probably not.

Appreciate the insight that, again, my looks have anything to do with anything to do with how much I do or don’t travel. I do fly, though not frequently, about 4-6 times a year.

I’m so very glad I could fit your stereotype ... not that I even think my comment was of the “well, actually” variety, but to each their own.

My company likes Delta, so I find myself flying them more than anyone. Southwest is NORMALLY who I fly on my dollar, but I bit the bullet and used Expedia to book a trip — including American flights — next month.

I’d give my point made here is wholly simplistic but not at all unreasonable.

Hey, you have a lovely day too! My apologies, I wasn’t trying to impress anyone.

My point — poorly made — is that life is about tradeoffs.

If I need to go to England, I’ll deal with the tradeoffs there. When I flew Delta last month, I made the same decision.

My point — poorly made — is that life in general is about tradeoffs. I don’t like flying because of the cost-cutting airlines have done in the last 20 years, but I fly the 2-3 times a year I have to because of work, and the 1-2 times a year for trips I want to take (Boo no more SDCC because of that price tag, but yay

Sure. I get reasonable disagreement, but a comment about my physical appearance (Based on a 10 pixel-wide thumbnail)? Yes, you’re a winner!

You also have the right not to buy a plane ticket.

Except Pratt hasn’t done Broadway, right? Not everyone measures success the same way.

Well, not really.
