I agree with most of what’s here, but let’s remember that the reason that the iPhone was AT&T exclusive first was that no one wanted to follow Apple’s paradigm-changing rules.

So you bring a clipboard with you from home just in case you have an emergency?

That being said, I managed amusement parks for 15 years. This would never work in any park I worked in.

Love mine. Sure hate it for you.

This. SmartTVs do not appeal to me at all.

Frankly, I don’t mind going the subsidized route — I probably would prefer it. I’m midway through my two-year cycle though, so I get to wait a year to see how it works itself out.

I’m in the same spot with my 6 Plus. But if you get the phone from Apple, all you’re doing is switching out the Sim Card, right? It shouldn’t(?) affect the account.

As I’m one of those folks w/ a grandfathered unlimited data plan on AT&T, I’m particularly sensitive to upsetting the apple cart.

If I’m at the midway point of a contract with AT&T, would getting a leased phone from Apple affect that contract in any way?

Where’s the tipping point on 24 months? I’m an iPhone guy with a 16gig 6 Plus, so $300 (750 full) up front. If I were buying the same phone again today, how does the math work?

Considering how far the technology has come with multi-touch (Specific to Apple Trackpads, I guess?) I wouldn’t necessarily say that a mouse is better than a trackpad as a rule.

If you’re making all of these sacrifices, how are you then living a “rich, modern” lifestyle?

Yes, this list is updated every couple of months, but they keep the same post and comments.

I guess I hadn't unfollower on Twitter, but hey ... thanks!

Oh God, I hate PFT with a passion that burns like infinite suns.

I get that it is fun to hate on Snyder, but this post is the kind of reason I rarely visit Deadspin these days.

Huh. I didn't know that. I haven't had any trouble with Siri recognizing me since I switched it (her?) to Australian.

Just out of idle curiosity ... would there be anything in Private Internet Access's process that would specifically block/disable torrents from TPB?

It's really a function of the quality of the charger. I'm very specific to get a 5v, 10-watt charger, and I've never had a problem since.

Installed Wunderlist because of this post, but didn't get around to using it until now because SDCC got in my way.
