One of the main reasons I continue to use Adium is specifically because it supports Growl. In fact, the only program in my daily workflow that doesn't is Tweetbot, and it drives me up the wall.

Yes Growl. I still find it considerably better than OSX's built in Notifications. In fact, if TweetBot was plugged into Growl, I would be able to completely turn Notifications Off.
I prefer Alfred to Quicksilver and Transmission to uTorrent, but this is a really good list. Other than those two, I use probably ever recommended app (if I have a need in that particular category).
Good for you! I did Couch to 5K this spring and loved it. I did have that feeling of impending "I've got to figure out something new" when the first race was over, and I've shifted to a combination of Treadmill/Rowing Machine/Track Running three times a week. One of my big disappointments in the C25K program — with…
OSX 10.5 Leopard ... probably because it was my first Mac OS.
For all the folks voting for the Leatherman Wave is their favorite multitool, I'm taking you've never actually had to use the tool as a wrench/pliers and had to put an real torque on the handle?
Easily the most uncomfortable multi-tool I've ever used as pliers.
As a former hotel employee, I've NEVER had any luck trying to book directly through the hotel. I know that the person I'm going to have the absolute best luck with is the FOM or a Front Desk Supervisor, but I always get dumped to central reservations.
What are the main differences between Gen 1 and Gen 2?
At one point, these 10 Ten Lists were pretty funny, right?
If it isn't Logan, then Leo is the best next choice :)
Exactly.
I love being guilted into giving up my aisle seat, or extra legroom seat. In some cases I paid more money, or checked in early or did whatever I had to do to get the seat that I wanted, but you wanna lay the guilt trip on for it.
"Very unlikely, as the rules for the Mac App Store have changed in the past year, making it much trickier for developers to release and maintain apps that can’t be sandboxed, like Alfred. Your best bet will always be to check out website directly for the latest version"
Yeah, I have no clue how all of that works, specific to when the parties are actually in other jurisdictions.
While they would be fine in New York (though I'm not sure where they were physically located when they initiated the "prank") they definitely seem to be in violation of Florida law, which is an "All-Party Notification" State when it comes to recording phone conversations. All parties need to be aware of the recording.
If your security deposit is low enough (more likely in an apartment complex than renting from individuals or a company), just plan on forfeiting it. It's just not worth the effort in those cases.
I've had voice recognition program (on a desktop) like that before, the challenge on a mobile is that it would require the phone to be listening to — and processing — everything it hears. The battery life would last how long at that point?
"Easily dismissing a work with only cursory experience with it?" Check
World War Z fan fic? Interesting .... very interesting....
