The notion of Good vs Bad has always been determined by the individual sides. I'm sure the Axis Powers in WW2 thought we were the evil bad guys too. As the saying goes "History is determined by the victor."

Ah Ol' Turok. That cazy FPS that had an Old Western Indian hunting down Dinosaurs on a Spaceship...

I'm with you as well. While the Chicken & Waffles did, in fact, taste like just that, I still felt it should have #3, Cheesy #2, & Sriracha #1. C&W just wasn't a flavor I thought of as enjoyable for potato chips.

Actually, it doesn't say what order he did it in. If I missed it, apologies.

I completely agree with Fly. I won't say the video game industry is completely blameless, but it seems like the Media is simply looking for the easiest target in these situations. It's not too far off from the old idea that Rock & Roll was "Devil's Music" that polluted the minds of our young (see Footloose <1984>).

I wouldn't say died of natural selection. I think it has simply evolved with the times. First it was 2 player-split, then 4 player-split, then LAN generations, and now MMO.

See, this is what I would consider the Internet over-hyping a game. I still plan to try the game. Unfortunately the TES fan base seems to have no leeway for anything except a perfect version of Skyrim with some version of multiplayer. Personally I plan to approach it as a new game simply set the TES lore. Either way,

You know... I'm a huge TES fan & I'm really excited for this, but I'm also trying not to let myself get sucked into the hype. It's so rare that a game ever lives up to it's own (or the internet's) hype. Please PLEASE don't let this turn into a Two Worlds....

Also, without knowing the exact limitations he put on himself, it's hard to say. IE/FF/Chrome is a no-no, but Google Play store is ok?

Ok, you're clearly focusing too much on the 1 point of my post. The overall point I was trying to make was that it was just all around uncomfortable to use, wether that use be head-mounted, tripod mounted, or some other way. I merely mentioned the headset-style as a way to segway to this new modern device.

I never said it was INTENDED to be worn that way; just that it was too heavy to do so.

There was also the fact that it was far to heavy to wear as a headset so you had to use the tripod. Heaven forbid your chair wasn't adjustable to match the height. I remember trying the VB as a kid (yes I even adjusted it to my then-tiny head) & it still left me me with a wicked headache.

TBH, I would consider Sweet Corn to probably be the worst. Coffee is already a beverage, & while carbonation might not be the best thing for it, I could MAYBE like it. Buffalo Wing... Well... There's a lot of spicy beers out there that I find delicious.

I dunno. It definitely reminds me imediately of original 8-bit SMB. Unfortunately, now I will have to start a Companion Cube photo log...

Ah ok. That makes more sense...

So I'm more of a Marvel guy (at least comic side), but why is the Crysis guy beating the crap out of Batman in the IGN pic?

I agree with you completely about the current status quo. I can't help but feel the underlying cause, however, is because the schools bring in the money generated by these players who in turn recieve nothing except the "right" to play. Either way, yes, the evironment does need to drastically change in order for

Mmmm, 4th meal... It tastes like shattered dreams...

and... now the PCGamer clip is down as well...

I also wrote a college paper on this same topic a few years back, but in one of my ethics classes. I closed with the opinion semi-kindasorta-but-not-really in line with NCAA thinking. These student athletes should be focusing on their studies & practice. Rather than simply paying them, why not give some kind of
