Somebody I Used to Know is such a fucking depressing song, and for some idiotic reason I have heard it played at non less than 3 weddings.

I hit the eject button on mtg in high school, when my less than 2 year old cards were too old to use in games. I’m not a wealthy industrialist.

The core rule books can be had for about $15 from online book re-sellers like abebooks. For me, it’s the dice. They’re like little polyhedral crack rocks.

If you do some searching you can definitely find some good one shots for beginners, which is another good way of introducing new players to the game. Getting them in under an hour is the tough part, since even really tight one-shots can take a couple hours.

Yep, only things I’ve spent money on beyond books have been dice (because dice are an addiction) and a $3 set of pawns for positioning.

look, when they make an n64 classic, I’m buying that shit, because RetroPie don’t do n64.

At $12 this is completely worth it. I’ve played through the included adventure a few times as a DM, because it’s a piss easy way to get new players into the game. As the other schmucks in the grey underdark with me will attest, this does not include friends with whom to play.

Reasonable take:
The best mmmmmm bop of the 90's was not from Hanson, but when applied thoughtfully in En Vogue’s “My Lovin’”

Curry and fries is a very popular thing in the British isles, and it’s fucking outstanding. I may cook up some potato wedges with the curry I’m making for dinner tonight. God it’s delicious.

I’m still a relatively new DM (by default mostly) but I start any session with a new group by laying out my ground rules. I’m not going to waste time with how much you’re carrying within reason, my world is more like Ankh Morpork than Minas Tirith and no rape (honestly, if a player wants to argue that rule, I’ll ask

For those of you who need more relaxing British programming this week, and possibly a passing interest in gardening (honestly, you don’t even need that much of an interest in gardening) I highly recommend Big Dreams Small Spaces and to a lesser (but more uplifting) extent Love Your Garden. If you run out on Netflix

Jesus fucking Christ. It’s after Labor Day.

Happened on Endor, dude.

I don’t know if you intended it this way, but I read that in Jim Ross’ voice, and it was magnificent.

If you haven’t put on Madball while lifting weights, then I pose the question, “do you even lift, bro?”

The Seminoles made going to shows in New Jersey a very miserable experience. I mean, hell, they killed a dude in Asbury Park.
Luckily they weren’t allowed to play dress up in NYC at the risk of being bloodied by actually scary dudes.

God I loved the Puppet Master series (to a point), and the weird conversations I had with tape collectors at comic conventions in the late 90's about why Full Moon didn’t have the rights for the original are a big part of why I still love going to conventions.

I remember when I first saw Rap Snacks. It was just over 10 years ago, and I was buying cheap beer to bring to a dirt track stock car race in Budd’s Creek, MD. The chips were okay at best.

On that list it’s The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
