This is probably the hardest thing for someone dealing with depression to understand, people do care about you, it may not feel like it but you are loved. Please seek help. If nothing else the person on the other end of the phone will listen to you and remind you that you do matter.

I’m lucky with my depression. It’s pretty mild, like “dark clouds always on the horizon” as my doctor put it. But, even the most mild chronic depression can become a monster.
