Fair enough. I do see his point albeit it not one I really agree with - but I digress. I appreciated the reasonable discourse though. And I'll be up late...paper due tomorrow, unfortunately, hah.
He was contemplating it for a long time though, no? It can't be an easy, split-second decision to make. The fame, the money...it's not easy to pass up. Neither is health.
I don't know - he wanted to try to make a career but realized he was risking his health, and therefore mulled over the decision of playing the sport he clearly loves (and is very good at), and staying healthy for (hopefully) the majority of his life. I don't think the 49'ers, or any organization, is owed anything when…
You're the worst kind of human.
Sure, but we must remember it's different for everyone. Most effective methods have been a combination of both therapy and medications - but we also have to be careful of the potential side effects the pharmacological approach can bring about. Glad to hear you're doing well now - wish you all the best for the future…
I'd like to think my balls are pretty high up on the list.
Love this post. I am studying to become a psychologist and I just want to add: Do not be afraid to seek therapy. More people need it than you (and they) realize. It is not shameful in any way. Get help, and have them help you to learn to cope with this illness.
No not at all, I agree with you. Waste of an interview, but what else is expected of CNN nowadays?
Hah, fair enough. Don't get me wrong, I think this interview was a horrendous idea, but I didn't necessarily mind Don Lemon here. That's all my point was.
You know, as big of a piece of shit as Don Lemon is, I didn't mind him in this video. Why they chose to interview a KKK member, who knows, but I didn't find him nearly as revolting here as I usually do. I think the blame is more appropriately placed on CNN as a whole - or the producers who got this guy to be on air.…
When the defense is showing a package with shifting linemen and/or constantly dropping LBs or pressing Corners, did you get free Chick-Fil-A during the Chick-Fil-A Bowl? What's your favorite menu item? Can't go wrong with the Spicy Chicken. If you pick anything else though you're wrong.
That doesn't mean the joke was good.
Not sure why it can be called the "Great Depression" when things this hilarious were happening
Sickening. He has no soul.
How else is he supposed to welcome Ndamukong Suh to Miami?
Goodness.
Put a couple guys on a poster back in the day - broke the rim with one dunk. And Fisher Price wouldn't even give me a refund.
He's ridiculous.
