Oh no doubt, not faulting the city at all. All I'm saying is because of their poor record and consequent poor attendance, a re-branding of the team can help (somewhat) energize the fan base.

I agree with you there, but a re-branding of a clearly failing franchise generates buzz. The NFL is a business, so if a product is failing to sell (e.g. Jacksonville), then it has to be worked on to create more of a market for itself. If it gets people talking, it should be considered somewhat of a success no?

I don't mind the jerseys to be honest. I don't think they're that bad. Gets the fan base excited, which in Jacksonville is clearly needed. That being said, the helmets are horrible. Two-tone wouldn't be so bad if half the Jaguar wasn't gold-on-gold.
