Well the fires I have seen are legitimately in the middle of the road or somewhere with nothing in an immediate surrounding, while this was in the middle of a parking structure filled with cars which still luckily didn't do damage...and I apologize for not being the bomb expert you presumed me to be.

I never experienced anyone blowing up a bottle bomb or whatever it was...couches burning/dumpster fires/minor vandalism were issues though, but nothing that ever really put anyone in danger. I dunno...this kid is just clearly an idiot lol.

It wasn't his dorm, it was the stairwell of a parking garage in an apartment complx at like 2am or so (how do I know this? I lived there last year and graduated from MSU last May). So that's probably why it was suspicious. Also fuck this kid...couple idiots like him is all it takes to ruin a rep.
