Had to make a burner account for this. Just wanted to say good job in your argument, I had a good laugh as you called him out on most everything I was calling him out on as I read along. :)
Sounds like BioWare’s approach with Mass Effect.
I know I usually don’t see eye-to-eye with you Doc, but for once I think we need to do a bro hug, because I am right there with you man. Halo was my jam. My go-to FPS experience. And while I did and still do enjoy the multiplayer experience of the franchise, I bought all of the games up to until 4 because of their…
My opinion: The Chief should have only been the protagonist of the first 3 games. 4 and on should have just featured a new Hero, a new story, perhaps even a new time. John’s story should have ended endlessly drifting in cryo stasis on his ship.

Or you just buy it with windows and you have a $400 machine you can use to play some hugely popular games (MOBAS, Many MMO’s, Counterstrike probably).
You know I’m also methodical enough to nab a sizable portion of guards just to cram em into the helicopter...but nowhere near on this scale. Maybe 10 or so of them but this is pretty impressive.

Very true. I think Point Lookout is what we would have considered an Expansion pack back in the days when physical media ruled. Shadowbroker seems like what DLC was always supposed to be, extra content that adds to a games playthrough.
Also, if you see the name “Brad Bushman” on a study, you can safely put it down and walk away. Bushman got busted running one of these surveys in about the sloppiest method possible and blatantly violated the peer review process on a journal he edits. The guy wants to be on TV.
Number one reason most of these studies are bunk: “they all measure their subjects’ aggression directly after they’ve played violent video games”. Measure any person after they’ve been ramped up after playing or even watching a football game, a kung fu movie or even playing a game of Monopoly, and they are going to be…
Age of Empires II is surely the pinnacle of RTS gaming. I can turtle like a boss.
It is my favorite series, it actually has some pretty deep lore.
Well I’m sorry we can’t all like Barbie Adventure Riding Club like you do.
You are also apart of everything wrong with the gaming community, hope it was worth all the money destroying our beloved hobby
You are a great example of what is wrong with the gaming community, congratulations.
