It’s short term feelgood stuff. It requires no real work to do. Easier to declare victory than to fight the war.

Half of gamers are women, according to the Pew Research Center.
Says the person who made a list featuring a horse fairly highly ranked.
I don’t understand the concern. It features a mode that the designers likely wanted to include for accessibility purposes that doesn’t fit in with how they envision the game to be played. I’m doing something similar in my own project; I want you to play it in a specific way. I am only offering another way because I…
It actually pisses me off that people want to assume that a strong woman has to be either gay or trans. It’s like, oh, hey, no way a strong woman could ever want a guy/no way a guy could ever want a strong woman and reinforces gender roles.
This is Taken King level expansion, not April Update level expansion.
Quality > Quantity. The quality of time I spend with the game is vastly better than, say, Far Cry Primal.
So
I’ve come to realize that the game’s silhouettes have nothing on TF2's readability. Still fun as heck, even if I suck.
But after seeing the same animations several times over, they became a little dull, and I began to resent them for breaking up the flow of the combat.

It did, and I’m not sure that worked in the game’s favor, for a host of reasons about how open world games work. I love ODST. It’s one of my favorite games ever. I just think Reach is a better shooter.
I may or may not have some pieces on Kotaku about the Silent Cartographer. ;)
ODST had the better story, but the pacing and encounter design was nowhere near as good.
Most Halo encounters have you observe the map before engaging. Sword Base is unique in that it has you fighting uphill, so you don’t really know what’s ahead and where the enemies are positioned. Likewise, the way the AI works in conjunction with the mission, you’ll have enemies show up in various locations they might…
I feel like the pacing is a bit off in Long Night of Solace. The fights aboard the Covenant ship never felt quite right to me.
I wrote a pretty big thing on the post-Bungie Halo campaigns for Kotaku as well. You might like ‘em. ;)
Emile’s death had such a perfect setup.
Litten’s the clear piece of shit here. Doesn’t even look like a Pokemon.
