One is mechanically simpler than the other. The game provides no avenues for toppling her, but does however let me test to see if its programming/scripting can cope with an impromptu assassination. It cannot.

She wanted to be Pablo Escobar. She was a murderer and a drug pusher who wanted to replace a murderer and a drug pusher.
You... can take over the country.
Actually, I think when Bioshock goes all meta on its story, it fucks that up.
There's a section of this article missing, and I'm going to see if it can come back. I expanded on this a little, explaining that my problem wasn't so much being insulted as it was "bad faith." I may actually just blow this up into its own big article, though. 'cause like Handsome Jack is amazing at insulting you.…
"Aunt," and it's totally her.
why did you respond to a post from 2012
Trust me, I've done the creative side of things as well, and I crave meaningful feedback in all its forms. Thing is, I'd rather have the negative stuff one-on-one than on a big site where it can get six-figure views, y'know?
Criticism is pointless if you can't back it up, and I've done my best with my analysis series to offer good criticism. I think my Dead Space 3 article did a good job talking about the game's negatives.
I like to think I'm pretty good at insightful feedback, based on the response I've received to my work, but I still try to avoid ruining someone's day if I can help it. I'd rather inspire self-reflection ("wow, this article says that X might be a bad thing. Have I done X? Can I avoid X?") than "hey, you, specific…
Oh, I've done negative pieces, but I mean, after a while, it kinda sucks having people send you messages about why you should kill yourself 'cause you don't like the game they like, y'know? My goal here is to (hopefully) encourage people to make better games, not demoralize 'em.
Lately, I've done my best to pose problems as ones being independent of a game—like, for instance, that STALKER piece, where I talked about several games without calling them out by name. I'd rather have a dev go "huh, does my game do that? Can I avoid that in the future?" than feel like they've been put on the spot.
And this is why I do my best to avoid negative writing these days and do my best to focus on the positives. If it's negative, I'll try to omit naming and shaming from my pieces and instead focus on the games that do things well. I'd rather point people to games that they should emulate rather than tell them why they…
No Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? Aliens vs Predator? STALKER?
lmfao
Don't be an ass. You edited your post.
Shotguns so best for invasions. Shotguns in this game amazing.
This is mostly intended to be a humorous post directed at Yannick more than anything else. I actually got my first gun through a mission in the campaign which requires you to deal with a dude who's got a gun. My next ones came from an encampment at the north of the Slums.
I guess you might have enjoyed this comment a lot more if you knew that Yannick and I rib each other occasionally.
You can't say "get outta here" without adding stalker to the end.
