FC4 is pretty great regardless. Oh, and it includes the AJM9 from Blood Dragon. The drug quest was awesome too ("objective: find the stuff, the stuff is missing" or whatever). Still one of the best cameras in shooter history.

I think they break up the map flow and make it harder to have 'duels' because they necessitate larger DM maps and much larger grenade explosion radii, among other things. I come to Halo MP for the duels.

Some of the people I've spoken to who played the game had a weirdly hard time on Uber. While I wish there was a harder difficulty mode, Uber seemed just slightly more challenging than my 100% ideal skill level (Halo: Reach on Heroic was apparently designed specifically for me, based on how comfortable I find it to be).

I liked that it had a regular story too.

The bots actually exist in the match. Spectres are robots you can hack to do your bidding. Then there are ground forces that work as a way to pull you in the direction of the fighting—the maps are big, and without a titan, there can be a lull in the combat if you chase someone off to the edges of the map.
