As observed by someone who has not only used one but has ACSP and is capable of performing under warranty work on them. And has.

The best part about buying Apple products is the low to middle quality parts and middling build quality. Oh and the mediocre, at best, software...

I would prefer to be a bit more balanced on it but I hardcore internalize everything.

Yeah, even if they didn’t rip off the idea, that kind of response is an instant blacklisting in my book.

Even better!

These motivators sound cheaper than a wife.

Not to mention that little quote is fucking nonsense. That doesn’t make him an asshole, it makes him an actor. Plenty of people have played assholes on tv or in movies, that doesn’t make them assholes in real life.

Well, only one way to find out and it isn’t like I really need it now. Might as well just save the money for a bit longer and get something nicer.

I am not going to be doing it now, so comparing something that exists at the moment doesn’t really matter. RAM prices are still far too sky high for me to bother doing it unless something dies.

Oh, I know. It has been a champ since I bought it the day it came out.

I just hope my current motherboard, CPU and RAM hold on until this whole kerfuffle with the RAM ends and RAM prices go back to normal.

Not all of those fabrication facilities can produce modern RAM, though, which hurts things. SK Hynix changed some of their fabrication facilities to things other than DRAM because the tech in them was getting old and resulting in higher wafer loss.

If you put the new drive in a location that blocks airflow, that can increase the temps in your case and cause the fans to run louder at the same time.

At that temp, you either accidentally loosened the CPU heatsink... or the fan stopped spinning (it happens to all fans eventually, more quickly if you don’t take care of them... computer maintenance is important).

Yeah, what a weird... coincidence...

Yep. Sucks when there is minimal, if any, competition. They are all just loving the profits even as the companies using it in their products are getting less and less happy about it.

There is, supposedly, more to it than that. We only have 3 RAM manufacturers left at this point... from a high of 20 or so in the 80's. And we seem to be in a time where the manufacturers are changing to new fabrication nodes, resulting in lower than predicted supply and higher than predicted demand (from all RAM

As much as I have spoken up for Windows 10, I wish they would have done the same for the Fall Creator’s Update. It still has problems.

Yes, it is so much better now that these works are protected for decades after the creator died. That doesn’t stifle and kill innovation at all.

The favorite of every non-nazi.
