This is just a way to figure out what models and trims have it. Then, you buy it from wherever you want.

Wasn’t there a jigglin’ Jello Picnic gif made by Torchinsky at some point?

The 1986 560 SEC from Road House.  I’m going outside the rules because it was not a long career, but what a performance!

It was a joke about perspective.

When I was in high school, and thought that I’d broken my thumb playing football, my mom made me drive myself to the hospital in our manual transmission minivan.

Ah, this was the focus of a Thanksgiving debate years ago between my dad and my uncle about whether the initial cost of the Honda mower is worth it given how flawlessly it works over the next 15 years (before being given away to a coworker to be used for many more years). Of course it is, Uncle Bill.

Really miss heated mirrors.  Should be in every car.

Yeah, how the hell is it going to get to 250 hp without enough red on the front?

The most nonsensical tutorial on the otherwise excellent lexls.com was the one that shows you how to remove the yellow tint to your fog lights. Yellow fog lights on a Black Jade Pearl LS400 is the right stuff.

You’re right. When I look at Orlove, Westbrook, and Torchinsky, I see a bunch of no-fun sourpusses that would get really butt-hurt about being denied access and conspire to smear GM ever after. It’s like what just happened with Jalopnik ravaging the Mustang Mach-E after David Tracy was denied access because of the

No no no, that’s just the car equivalent of the eyeball popping out to reduce dangerous pressure overload on the brain.

I think that this is probably a big part of the answer.  Moved to a colder climate, so I’ve been letting the car idle for awhile and only driving 6 miles each way.

Serious question: I recently bought a car that I expected to make about 16 mpg (1995 Toyota Previa Alltrac in not-great shape). The seller told me, no, he actually managed 24 mpg on the highway sometimes. The car overall runs pretty well, but has some drips and the exhaust is kaput (the remainder of it fell of

I see some Honda Element in there.

Not sure how you mean.  The 18" wheel and tire combo actually has 7mm smaller overall diameter.  I’ve put these same 18" wheels on a car made for 15s before (1990 LS400) and it was fine. You think the tire width will be a problem?

Thanks. Yeah, I was wondering about the extra width. It’s a 95 Previa that is supposed to be on 215/65-15s.  I calculated it and the 245/40-18 should only be 7 mm smaller in diameter.

I have the option to put new 215/65-15 tires on (Tirerack only shows me one option, Yokohama Iceguard) that are $97 each or buy a set of 18" wheels on craigslist that come equipped with 245/40R18 Michelin X-ice with 10/32" of tread left for $400. Which do I do? Does more sidewall help in snow?

Guy in the seat next to me punching himself in the face and head and pulling his hair out while his girlfriend cried in the seat next to him.

While I don’t reject your system of assigning land speeds to different warp values, I find it equally evocative to think of “preparing for warp speed” as downshifting or having the VTEC kick in. That extra acceleration is what really brings one’s car spaceship LARPing to life. However, in cities with a beltline or
