Vaporeon is and always has been my favorite Pokemon. I used to run competitive teams with him back in the day based around switching and wish passing. It was loads of fun!

Man, that was the standout quote from this article. I can imagine her saying it and it just makes me hate them all the more. That’s so pretentious and elitist and delusional of her.
Man, it’s weird to think a writer whose work I absolutely love like Haruki Murakami is going to share billing with someone so detestable. My brain is not even sure how to compute.
Correct me if I’m wrong. I kind of feel like this is a relatively knew kind of perspective/criticism for superhero games? This whole idea that the game needs to encompass their life as a civilian and their superhero life. The comics of course cover Peter’s civilian life in great detail, but most Spider-Man games…
Totally agree. Romantic love is so overly explored and touted, but familial and brotherly/sisterly/friend love is so often unexplored and unhighlighted. And these are just as important to a human being’s life.
There was a time when mailing DVDs to people was seen as revolutionary. I remember how super convenient it was not having to drive to the Blockbuster and having my dvd list already queued up so I don’t even have to pick which movies I want to rent. The whole streaming thing was a super niche side benefit they offered…
Okay, dude, I’ve always wondered if other people imagined the Phoenix Wright universe in this way. Can I just say that back when I was playing Justice for All, I got this weird sexual chemistry/sexual tension vibe from the court scenes with Phoenix and Franziska Von Karma. It was so palpable at times. Enough so that I…
It’s part of the reason DKC2 is so good. That Diddy/Dixie combo was fire. No other DK game combo ever felt so balanced.
I remember reading somewhere that when you strip down the houses to their cores, really everyone falls somewhere on a spectrum of Slytherin to Hufflepuff. Every Gryffindor and Ravenclaw just falls somewhere in between those two.
I used to be so annoyed that I got Hufflepuff in quizzes... then I realized that actually a lot of my qualities really aligned with Hufflepuff and my favorite character in the series is Cedric Diggory. After that, I was all about Hufflepuff pride!
Hope you get better soon, Mike. Kotaku isn’t Kotaku without your videos. Hoping for a speedy recover for you.
I think the most interesting thing I’ve gotten from this show is reading the comments from different audience members and gauging how varied people’s empathy toward certain characters is. Some people feel very empathetic toward the robots and others the humans. For example, I certainly agree with this article that…
I find it interesting that so many people root for the robots in Westworld. I see Westworld as a show with moral ambiguity and the only really “root-worthy” or “good” person is Teddy. Everyone else has done terrible, effed up things. However, I refrain from really rooting for the robots because they’ve killed a lot of…
Maybe she’s not saying Chun Li is a bad guy. Maybe she’s saying SHE is the “bad guy Chun Li”? Just a thought I had when reading the lyrics. Not sure either.
Oh, man. I recognize the Mrs. Incredible cosplayer. I follow her on Instagram. I had no idea she was in Cali. It’s so cool to see how they put these costumes together months before the cons.
They sounded so relieved to be unharmed from that cell phone. These cops make me sick.
That’s some quality snark, your majesty. :)
Favorite: Black Panther and Thor 1. Both have complex villains. Thor has that Kenneth Branagh Shakespearean feel to it. Black Panther is honestly the better of the two because it is so relevant but I love them both a lot.
Dude, that’s like biological terrorism or something. If someone was doing that to me, I wouldn’t take the high road like she did. She’s a good person for giving this disgusting person a second chance.
That looks like the worst attendee list to discuss the subject I’ve ever seen.
