That F117 Pilot was the keynote speaker at a conference I attended. What a cool story.

I’m one of those types that develops emotional/sentimental attachments to my cars, so I’m more likely to spend more to keep them. For example, I have spent almost the purchase price of my 95 probe on maintenance and parts. However, I haven’t had to do anything twice, so I feel like it’s well spent. If I start having

No worries, they aren’t exactly common and were only offered with a manual in 2005. If you’re ever in MN, come check it out.

Legacy GT wagon. ;)

Not sure it’s so much that as it is the OZ endorsement, a well known supplier of race wheels, and the rally badge, given Mitsu’s race heritage, giving the illusion that the car would be something it’s not.

It really wasn’t that fast, though. It was just so well balanced and quick enough that it became popular as a drivers car. Senna having one didn’t hurt in the reputation department either.

I destroy miatas on the track frequently. The fact that you don’t have to slow down for turns doesn’t mean you carry enough speed to actually be competitive on a road course... And it sure is fun taking turn 1 at BIR flat in fifth at speeds I’m not even sure a miata can reach. All this in my Subaru station wagon.

Nobody thinks they look fast.

Never underestimate the average consumer’s capability to be staggeringly unintelligent.

Yeah man!

BIR mostly, as well as some smaller events at DCTC (dakota county community college). Just gotta look for the right events. Proving Grounds, Power Cruise, there’s Race School weekends, etc that usually end up at less than 200 bucks for 6 or more sessions.

That’s on the pricey side for what we can get in mn

No fiats here.

Shut uuuuuuuup.

Dodge Damon?

Well, it’s been pretty well known that GM idiocy isn’t really a new development.

Turbo, manual, AWD, 300 hp when tuned, wagon. All things that describe my car. Find me something sold new that’s somewhat comparable.

Yeah, we’ll see what happens. Thanks for the response!

It would be fucking ludicrous if Seven Billion Dollars (capitalised for emphasis) doesn’t “go very far”. GM was straight up killing people and hiding it, and they got fined a billion.

Find me new a sporty, affordable wagon with a manual that doesn’t suck.
