Without actually having before/after dyno results, I’m going to chalk that up to placebo. I kept doing this in the Toyota Sienna I was borrowing. I’m used to taking off briskly to not impede traffic....which translates to roasting the tires when you have a torque converter, FWD and 180hp more than usual.

The problem isn’t so much that the truck is bigger, it’s that the garage to house ratio is off. Just playing! Nice ride, good choice with the 5.0 over the 3.5TT. Should be a good to you for a long time.
