Water is awesome, but it will not replace electrolytes. Gatorade is very good for that. I tend to mix vodka with Gatorade as a drink in general. It helps to rehydrate as I drink and lessens a hangover a bit.

Except that, as the article says, the 6 BILLION + bacteria are hanging around in many places other than your tongue. Under your tongue, the roof of your mouth and between your cheeks and teeth to name a few.
