Heavy accent here. Kinect needs region packs for regional accents and vocabulary, so it has a US English and a UK English recognition pack.

Whether they are altruistic or not (my money is in not), Sony has provided what they're after. If Microsoft is providing to you what you are after, then you are an equally satisfied customer and the dissenters of your chosen videogame console manufacturer can't argue that either.
