The first one is a dragon stance seen from the front, so her thigh is hidden from view by her calf. I suspect it is being used as a "hero slide", when an individual is pushed/tossed backward and they keep their balance with this stance.

I absolutely despise the X-Box controller. I love the Dualshock 3 with a passion, including the analog triggers (great for racing, but they do suck for fighting games).
