I still remember the episode where the planet they were on was overtaken by water IIRC. They were all in that land rover..maybe I am dreaming but I loved that episode. Non-campy Lost in Space was best Lost in Space.

If they’re going the direction I suspect, with lots of angst from young space-love, they’re either going to have to expand the crew, find lots of attractive humans in space, or go big into incest.

For me one of the big things will be casting. When I was much much younger watching the reruns I had a crush on Penny and now that I’m an old man it’s about space MILF watching the reruns. Plus finding an actor that can live up to Jonathan Harris is going to be a tall order.
