In one of my daughter's college classes, the prof asked how many knew how to drive a clutch; she was one of three in a class of 40-something. We have five vehicles in the family; one is a slushbox!

Wow; I've been doing this for, like, forever. No adjustment required I guess. Even better yet, I repainted my 528e last year using Rustoleum and a roller.
@BЯдΖǐL-ЯЄРΘЯΤЄЯ: A wider view... Never knew such awesomeness could be packaged in so few cc's.
@BЯдΖǐL-ЯЄРΘЯΤЄЯ: Good golly, what is that thing? Other than flippin' awesome...
Very cool. Thanks for the tip on the pics!
How about the Hofmeister Kink?
@ninjaturtle: Try Wyoming sometime. Or the Kansas Turnpike.
"... Denmark's largest rocket launch ever."
That totally sucks for the RC guy. I can see the logic behind the manned aircraft having the right-of-way, but it's totally irresponsible for the pilot to do an unannounced low flyby like that WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE LINING THE RUNWAY! That alone should bring the wrath of the FAA down on the guy. And his concience…
That's excellent. Do you suppose the mistake was on the part of the owner or the DMV? Both?
I owned a '73 Audi Fox back in the late '70's; the Fox was built on the same platform as the Dasher, but had no hatchback or wagon variations. It wasn't a bad car, just what you'd expect for an early econobox. As for handling, it may have leaned in the turns more than modern cars, but it still got around a corner much…
Agreed; NSX epitomizes the timeless sports car. I'd have to throw in the BMW e36 Z3 (roadster & M-Coupe) as well. For a sports sedan, the e28 in European trim... oooh yeah.
As impressive as that croc is, the FJ is flippin' awesome! Do want!
@BroncoMech: That thought makes me screw up my face & say "Why?"
This car is noteworthy, but I prefer unadorned canvas.
Roger needs a hobby.
Hey, I think that was the Duster I drove in high school!
These were great little pickups, albeit a little on the small side and prone to rust. The one I drove in the mid-'90's started out in red, but the original owner and his son (from whom I bought it) had replaced every body panel on it but the cab itself. It had a white Toyota box on it (that got a double-take from a…
@Doug Higgs: You guys do know that there was a time when many cars were built with manual transmissions and bench seats; the latter option pretty much guaranteed that the parking brake wouldn't be hand operated, right? And schivvers is right; it is possible to get away from a stop on a hill without resorting to using…
"Um... Ya got anything in red?"
