Late as usual, but the proper answer is an El-Frickin-Camino; it's the Cadillac of cars, don'tcha know?

Daihatsu? Gesundheit.
@skitter: Let me rephrase that: When is Murilee coming back FULL TIME? For the last year it was a rare day that I visited Jalopnik during the week. Just wasn't worth the trouble without his additions, and even with him on the weekend shift, it's just not the same.
Awesome. Just awesome. I can't say how glad I am that you posted this on a Friday; any other day and I wouldn't have seen it (but hopefully would've seen the fruits of it.)
@HoonThatFerrari: Isn't that the only way penguins fly? Low, as in under water? :o)
My kids have a pair of Civics, and they looked more like Priuses (Prii?) following the last snowstorm.
Wow; tough question. I've driven a Chrysler slant six, an AMC six, and both the M20 & M30 BMW's... The Chrysler was probably the most robust; that thing carried me most of the way through my high school years with all the abuse/neglect I could throw at it. Too bad it was wrapped in such crap ('70 Duster) that the…
So ugly they're cute. I love that Valiant, and have always wanted one. And that Nixon sticker is a great touch. Reminds me of a buddy of mine who restored an old Corvair convertible; he put a Ralph Nader bumper sticker on it, just for kicks.
@wheatieboy: Awesome! Glad everyone is safe; minivans are easily replaced.
Murilee Martin back on the day shift.
Crap; first I forgot the caption, then the hamsters dropped my image tag, now they won't let me add the tag back in when I edit it. No visit from Santa for the hamsters. Grrr.
My all-time favorite though is the Moon Transporter, built by Norm Holtcamp back in the early '60's.
How about a Honda-powered 3-wheel Isetta? I like this one!
Next is this junkyard inbred mashup of two trucks. No Photoshop here!
A little late to the party, but I've got a few favorites that I haven't seen submitted yet. First up, the Mercedes Benz race car hauler from back in the '60's...
Nice Price? Nope. Great Price, provided there's no rust and it's been reasonably maintained. I could live with the diving boards, but a Euro bumper conversion would really help this old girl out.
Great fun; Calvin & Hobbes go to college!
@digginit: Nope. More like a Datsun, early '70-ish. Then there's a couple of Fords; the brown one is about a '69, and the red one with the white utility box is a mid-'90-ish machine.
@Iamrockingriceburners: x2 ... Even better, if you'd reflowed the solder on a few key spots on the PCB, you'd be much better off.
@f86sabre: He must think he's still on the Enterprise. Given today's technology, I'd say 'ambitious' doesn't properly describe his goal of circling the globe; foolhardy comes to mind.
