@Hello Mister Walrus: 'Own' in the same way so many Americans 'own' their homes, through the debt they owe to someone else. The Government doesn't 'own' a blessed thing. The people who pay for it own it, and that wouldn't necessarily mean you & me; more accurately it's our kids and grandkids.

What a cool hobby. What would it be like to do road racing with something like that using more modern motorcycle hardware and say 600cc engines? Body something like this only half-scale?

My all-time favorite was my 1972 Plymouth Duster. I drove that thing places no modern CUV would dare to go.
