@Hello Mister Walrus: 'Own' in the same way so many Americans 'own' their homes, through the debt they owe to someone else. The Government doesn't 'own' a blessed thing. The people who pay for it own it, and that wouldn't necessarily mean you & me; more accurately it's our kids and grandkids.
Cool as it is, I can think of a lot of hosts better suited for that LS2. How many can you name?
Does it count to say it was the coolest Chrysler ever made when it didn't come anywhere near production?
@ImGonnaGitYouSucka: Wow; that's just prophetic.
@Comrade ☠Grяrяrяrяrяrяrя reporting for duty!: Failed? No intervention? I scoff at your lack of perspective.
@Stranger then most: Barack Motors! Affectionately known as "BM".
Isn't that a hit & run? "Hey! That guy just wrecked my truck!"
@Ash86 aka Monsieur Discontinuité Jean Baptiste Marie de Hyd...: That's optional. True hell never ends, as does the hell of PCH where the car is never quite finished; it's always one more part, one more repair...
@Almostbanned [jezebel took away my star]: I think that's why the seller is bailing out. Of the project, that is.
@ThreeLitre: You had me at "burnished awesomeness". Heart clicky for that.
@Rust-MyEnemy: I've got a story about 'ground beef' you might enjoy. Ask me sometime.
Meanwhile his therapist is patting him on the back for venting his frustrations in this way rather than on his dog.
@Pleco, the jalopNick: Kinda looks like him too.
@mechimike: Leeway for the early 5-series definitely, but any penalties they might have received should go to the newer 3's. Pesky little insects. They're everywhere.
What a cool hobby. What would it be like to do road racing with something like that using more modern motorcycle hardware and say 600cc engines? Body something like this only half-scale?
My all-time favorite was my 1972 Plymouth Duster. I drove that thing places no modern CUV would dare to go.
@Novaload Misses Murilee: Attach the cans to the hood/fenders/roof with a hammer and really large nails. That'd larn 'em.
Awesome ride, guys! Is that the official Jalopnik News Wagon? What's it score on the whaddya-call-it (somebody help me out here... can't think of the name) scale?
