Problem is she is 26 years old, her parents can't do much. If you are having a psychotic break, they can stabilize you and monitor you for 24 hours, and unless you voluntarily commit yourself, no one can make you stay and get treatment if you are over 18.

That's a lot of "ands" in your hypothetical scenario.

I imagine eventually the benefit will be that facebook will sell the top listings in any search to companies ala Google Adwords. So you search for your friend, and the first listing that comes up is Coca Cola's facebook page.

I watched the show when it was on in the UK. Her food disorder has very little to do with her thyroid (I don't even remember it being mentioned) and more to do with the fact that she felt outcast and lonely as a teenager, and the weight became a way to mask herself. She was a 'normal' size for a long time, and it

Because sadly after a certain point, you just run out of money to prosecute people. The state sunk a lot of cash into this case, and if they can get a plea deal, and save money, they're going to. Especially in a case like this where they spun their wheels a lot because of this woman's obstruction.

She's married, he husband cleans and feeds her.

I moved my two cats with me when I moved to the UK from DC. Virgin Atlantic has a special compartment for the animals, and were very good to me when I flew. They came and found me at the gate before I took off to let me know everything was ok. It will be ok, it's the most stressful thing I've ever done, but I felt my

Doesn't the drugs/steroids you would be put on if you had Lupus cause you to gain weight?

This isn't my experience at all. I am a loud, mouthy broad, and damn proud of it. My mother always told me, no one in life is guaranteed to stick up for you, but you.

I do too. From Alaska. I get teased mercilessly for it.

It's interesting to think about... do you think it was easier for this woman to get help because she was 73 instead of 23?

Firstly, simply watching a fight isn't illegal. Secondly, your school has authority over you, just like your job does. Those successful people you speak of, if they pulled that shit at their work, even off hours and off premises, could and should be fired. Employers are within their right to do so. Read your

This is not gossip. THIS is slander.

My problem is that the school's response is reactive rather than proactive. Like I said in my last post, my school had a problem with fighting, so they made the punishment for even supporting a fight with your presence punishable by expulsion. This is the stance this school needs to take.

Replace "school" with "work" and tell me how you'd feel if this happened where you work.

All I can say is replace "school" with work. Just because this is happening to minors doesn't diminsh their right to go to their "work" every day with minimal harassment. And that when harassment DOES happen, it's addressed properly and swiftly by "management"

Disagree. Replace "school" with "work" in this scenario. If you were systematically being sexually harassed every year with a shitty list rating your female coworker's sexuality, AND your work knew about it, you could ABSOLUTELY sue the shit out of them. It's harassment, this is a place these girls go for an

"If the latter: There’s no too much you can do to stop this aside from harshly punishing confirmed offenders."

I mean, I don't the specifics of the case, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that teenage boys aren't exactly known for their verisimilitude, here.

If this list is distributed, it's slander.
