Someone suggested part of the reason she and other young female Dems (I can’t remember the others, but apparently there were a few who used their question time well) are good at this is because they don’t feel the need to double-duty their questioning time as, like, exposure. They’re comfortable engaging with the

My guess is that he stopped at the first line and thought the other guy was gloating at Cohen’s misfortune.

Wait...someone described Michael Cohen as a man “with no reason to lie or obfuscate”, and Don Jr. retweeted it? How are these people so fucking bad at this?

Respectfully to your last point, I love the enthusiasm, but I think she’s exactly where she needs to be for now: Congress needs more young, progressive members uncorrupted by status quo politics of the last several decades—she’s providing a fantastic example of how to question and combat the evils we’re up against. I

Her questions about the asset/tax fraud related to the two NY golf courses, which Cohen answered in the affirmative, set up the city of New York and the State of New York to demand Trump’s tax returns. And not just because they are entitled to them in general, but, now, because they have real, prosecutable reasons to

She was quick, poised and an example to all.

I’d heard all this gushing about Shallow; this was the first time I actually heard it and I burst out laughing at that last shallalalalalow line. So bad, so corny.

Chris Pratt sullies the legacy of Andy Dwyer and dishonors the service of Burt Macklin.

Thank you... awful song is awful! How it won a prestigious award is a mystery to me.

The issue is that the story in the movie is 95% untrue. These two men were never friends; the driver was fired after 2 months. Mr. Shirley was not estranged from his family, didn’t have issues with his Blackness (the idea that he needed to learn to accept himself is absurd), didn’t need to be taught about Black

I have to think this film benefited from some vote splitting. The other films were all pretty much evenly well regarded (except maybe Bohemian Rhapsody). None of the nominees was way ahead of the pack, and a clear winner, so all the votes got distributed and Green Book squeaked by.

Even Lloyd Christmas had a better plan at the diner.

This dude comes from a family where, like, all of the kids were put on TV and commercials from infancy; he’s probably legitimately fucking dumb, and can only think in terms of money, success, and fame.

It’s amazing how this irrelevant, powerless junior congressperson (as internet commenters full-throatedly insist she is at every opportunity) has got conservatives in such a tizzy. I thought she wasn’t important? Which was it?

I really wish one of his targets would just respond with “Shut the fuck up you fat assed, sausage fingered, orange skinned, rat haired, Russian puppet.”

Funny how when a socialist country ends up in the shitter, it’s because of its socialism! But when a capitalist country is in the shitter, it’s never because of that.

Of course, if Obama had tried this during say the Affordable Care Act then every GOPer, their Alex Jones loving uncles and centrists would be (probably rightfully) screaming about tyranny and shitting on the constitution.

The fact that Trump already said he didn’t have to do this should be the first and last lines of this lawsuit. The fact that Trump announced a national emergency and promptly went on vacation should be somewhere in the middle.

Know who else has 5 Grammy nominations? Kid Rock. The Grammys mean less than nothing. Almost no one watches, even fewer care.

This’ll get me some flack because I’m seeing something other than how his words were (stupidly) structured, but I think he meant to include everyone in his statement about “ordinary Americans.” He tends to speak out against the millionaires, who are not ordinary, and he tends to contrast them with the rest of us who
