Most F1 numbers are largely based on the car and era you drove in. So if that’s your basis for saying Schumacher is the best ever, you’ll find most that follow the sport disagree with you. Case in point, Sebastian Vettel has superior numbers in every category to Fernando Alonso but most you ask will likely have Alonso…
It’s legal if the guy lapping you is going substantially slower than you are. Max wasn’t.
Who the fuck expects a backmarker to do anything but back off in this situation?
At one point he did call the critique “bullshit”. Past tense.
Verstappen penalized with two days community service. Ha.
After Monaco? Different mentality, different driving, different results.
Is this F1 whataboutism? Verstappen being a dick or not has nothing to do with Senna, Schumacher, Piquet, or any other driver and whether or not they are/were dicks.
It was absurd to do it back in their day and it’s just as bad now.
It doesn’t matter who attacked. Verstappen could have avoided the incident.
And....this makes it ok?
Hamilton laid it down for him pretty clearly in the waiting room.
And Verstappen could have simply avoided getting mixed in. But he didn’t.
And as long as Red Bull enable him, things will likely get worse. Assault is ok in their book.
It’s legal to unlap yourself. So while unnecessary, he was within in his rights to do so. Verstappen should have avoided this crash by simply not getting mixed in. But he is who he is and will always get involved in stupid incidents until he realizes the consequences of how he approaches his driving.
What isn’t immediately obvious is whether or not Max has been shoved by other drivers when he ruined their races with idiotic crashes.
It’s a far better concept than the Champions League, which is a complete waste of time until, at best, the first knockout stage. Every week would have multiple marquee matchups.
Ref did his job. Don’t blame him for the laws of the game. If the yellow card is the issue, perhaps come up with a celebration that doesn’t involve removing your jersey.
Let’s also not forget that he’s now referring to the grief he got this year for his poor driving decisions as “bullshit.” He hasn’t learned a thing.
