NBCSN had good commentators

after seeing what a steaming bowl of misery the 2017 F1 season was for McLaren, they decided to retool the show to focus just on the preseason, when there was at least some hope in Woking.

Very rare but, like anything, athletes “coincidentally” just have a higher occurance than normal humans.

I’m shocked this is news to people. I traveled with a friend last summer that had never left the USA. First thing he did was figure out that you could keep the lights on with any sort of card that could fit in the key slot.

Pretty standard in Europe.

If they add a 2nd GP in the USA it would likely be a street circuit.

Thanks.

Where are you seeing a minimum track length? As far as I can find, only have to be a Grade 1 track. Legit would be interested in knowing if there’s a reg.

Except the windshield can’t withstand anywhere near the force the halo can.

As far as I know there’s no minimum length for a circuit. There’s a minimum race distance which only Monaco is allowed to fall just short of. In general shorter tracks are probably looked down upon but there are several tracks on the calendar only 0.3-0.5 miles longer.

Union > League

If it was all legal gambling, I assume it means he has a very significant amount of debt owed to casinos. Obviously much shadier than say, owing billions to foreign interests for loans on real estate.

Winning a title depends on so much more than talent, so it’s not quite the best judge of greatness. Statistics in general for F1 are pretty useless across generations as more and more races are tacked on to the calendar. That’s one of the reasons why you’ll often see the discussion revolve more around who is the best

Will it have the same smoke effects as their V6 hybrids?

He looks like Sweetchuck.

Basically so that they can say “we purchased x amount of buildings” and the brainwashed see that and say, “wow, we’re having an impact” and then they pump more money into the machine.

While I can’t speak to their plans for the channel, part of their strategy is to spend insane amounts of money to give the impression they are expanding. That’s why they own so much property around the world. In fact, they recently opened a $50 million studio specifically with this channel in mind.

Update: 2:32 p.m. est: Amazon declined to officially comment, but a source within the company indicated that this rumor might be baseless after all.

The Daily Mail’s article says they don’t have a new contract and aren’t saying if there are more on the cards after the next season. So it’s a non-story. They have no sources at Amazon and don’t even claim to. They just have a “source” that says what everyone knows, that they have one season left and haven’t announced

“We have a great country and we should be celebrating our country,” he told Fox News in a recent interview.
