Car and Driver says the Fusion Sport weighs 4,128lbs. Motor trend says 3,982.

I get damn perfect bacon out of the microwave in 5 minutes. 15 minutes for bacon? That’s un-American. I need my bacon now!

The Fusion is down power compared to the SHO, also only 3oolbs lighter. Having driven both the Fusion Sport and SHO, the SHO is a better (and faster) sports sedan. The Fusion Sport feels like a regular Fusion with bunch of power.

That’s not correct. Ford’s “C” segment chassis have been engineered by Ford. Mazda and Volvo have used them in the past.

Not to mention unpredicatable events like 9/11 and predicatable, but widely ignored, events like the mortgage meltdown.

I don’t think you understand what gentrification is. You should understand the words you use before you use them incorrectly.

This a million times. Fucking west-coasters....

I know, it’s really astonishing :)

Those are US sales. I got the the numbers from GoodCarBadcar.net. They don’t show what fleet sales look like.

Did you know that in 2015 Buick sold more cars (223,055) than Acura, Audi, Cadillac, Infiniti, Lincoln, Jaguar, or Volvo? The only lux or near-lux brands that sold more vehicles than Buick are BMW, M-B, and Lexus and those are the brands that Cadillac is supposed to go after. I’d say Buick is doing mighty well for GM

I see your point but replacement tires for a 1st gen TC are nowhere near $200 each and they defeintely weren’t performance tires from the factory.

Higher trim 4WD models have a full time, automatic 4wd mode. That sounds like AWD drive to me.

It’s a legal requirement spelled out in the FMVSS. I don’t recall the exact verbiage but they limit the amount of forward facing lights that can be illuminated at one time (4 total). I think they count high beams as two each (or something like that) thus the fogs need to turn off.

but it doesn’t need to hold itself in the air, and pushing off the ground via tires is much more efficient than pushing off the air with propellers.

That’s true, but most of the sedan sales are getting stolen by $35k crossovers and not $60k SUV’s.

Follow the rules and only use the left lane for passing.

Californians vote, but don’t pay. They’ve setup a system of entitlements and programs that can’t be rolled back and nobody wants to pay for them. The result? California’s debt is skyrocketing.

Maybe you missed the part where I said “I agree”. I’m just pointing out that the cost of said programs is shouldered by the American people in one way or another and not by the corporations building the vehicles.

I agree, but we can’t forget who bears that cost. It all comes back to the consumer and the tax payer.

Unless you have one on your grill. They lack high RPM output, but man can they make a tasty chicken.
