That’s because when you use CGI somewhat sparingly, with practical effects and in service to your story, it works a whole lot better than when CGI is basically your whole story.

Keith richards died 40 years ago, what we see today is his zombie. This is why no one can understand him, because it’s not real human speech.

If I wasn’t so disappointed 11 minutes of Greg shredding sick guitar riffs would be my unironic favorite episode of Steven Universe ever.

Confession: It didn’t occur to me that writing a headline with “dirty” and a lede with “tingly” was suggestive until the comments started rolling in. Apparently my physics roots are still strong enough to drown out any cautions from my mass media experience? Now it’s too much of a Thing for me to edit it to something

“The rocket was carefully transported to a hanger near launch complex 39A.”

I have a cat. Servant wouod be a promotion, I think footstool is more accurate.

At least we’re 2 days deep and I don’t think America has had a mass shooting yet, so there’s that to hang onto.

That doesn’t seem like a good sign... 2016 is so terrible that he refreezes himself after one song.

SilverHawks!

Sooo with the fancier digs are they going to raise the pay for employees?

Aww I wish they did make Snoke a woman. Star Wars needs more female villains. Ventress was good till she became more anti hero. I still hold out some hope Rogue One will have a cool female villain. And perhaps Phasma will get to do more villainy in her larger role in VIII.

My second favorite shot/image from the entire trilogy. This one image shows so much Star Wars, it’s incredible.

Now playing

Honestly, when I first saw the pilot for The Man in the High Castle I was sold on it based on the strength of the opening credits alone. Luckily, the rest turned out to be just as good.

I'll take "Things that look more realistic than anything I've ever seen in CGI" for 400, Alex.

It's a door matte :o

Nice. It's too bad that these pics aren't a bit bigger, because I'd love to use some of them as my desktop wallpaper.

It means since returning from the moon, we've never gone beyond Low Earth Orbit as depicted in this image. All those space shuttle launches and the space station are in the tiny skin around earth that you see here.
