I think it has a to do with a market shift towards the western open world RPGs. I was a huge fan of JRPGs growing up, but have had a hard time going back to them after playing the Bethesda games from Morrowind on.

well that's, like, your opinion, man. I don't see what is to be gained by shitting in people's mouths for enjoying something. Maybe you should spend more time focusing on things you enjoy than on things you hate. You'd probably be happier.
can you stop clicking on Doctor Who stories and posting comments? Unless you're in some kind of funky clockwork orange dungeon, no one is making you read it. It is entirely possible in the bold future in which we live, to behave as a rational adult and move on to the next item without throwing a fit.
Not sure what you're talking about. 1. It's always been a kids show. Check your history. 2. The show takes time. I only started watching about three years ago, but my kids and I quickly went through the new series on Netflix, as well as many classic episodes, and eventually switched TV providers to get BBC America.…
I get pissed off at Moffat plenty, but I still find his worst episodes to be far more enjoyable than middle-of-the-road episodes from the classic series. The short "Night of the Doctor" has gone ahead and put him back on even footing with me for the 50th. How he handles this show will color much of my views of him.
There was more new than I expected. The EXALT missions are a fun change of pace, and there are some new main story missions that are great (No spoilers, but the Canadian fishing village mission is a blast). Overall for me, it feels like you get a bigger sense of the world in this one. Much more so than in EU, which is…
And so we now know what happens when an unlovable force meets and insufferable object.
Wasn't trying to be rude, it's just that the changes make a pretty fundamental difference in gameplay and strategy. I'm also a compulsive completist. It's a character flaw
There is a ton of new stuff in it. It feels like a different game for me. I was upset at first too, but I feel like it is worth it now. Actually adds quite a bit.
smh
depends on how you use them. If you can have someone get off an overwatch shot when the aliens activate, the MECs can usually finish off anyone with kinetic strike. It's also key to get the auto regen perk and have the area healing if you can't keep a support in range.
mine was challenging because it caught me at a bad time. Two of my best were in the infirmary when I got hit, then luck of the draw stuck me with some very middle of the road guys. Lost my top Support guy halfway through and was very anxious by the end of it. It was a thing of beauty
then do a playthrough and then get the DLC so you can properly appreciate the additions
I try to have a good B Team in place, and I try to give them different skillsets to mix and match with my star soldiers. What I like about the new covert ops missions is the ability to use them to level up lower-ranked soldiers. It reminds me of the treasure hunts in Final Fantasy Tactics. It's a good way to get…
The point is to level them up. Once they have squadsight, damned good ground, scopes, and archangel armor, they are the all-seeing flying badasses of the game
50% isn't an automatic miss, just like 98% isn't an automatic hit. I had a critical hit, one shot kill on a Muton with a 12% hit chance early in the game. Happy dances were performed.
looks 'shopped to me. they either brushed out some back or brushed in some butt
they can't cover, but they are tanks. If anything, I'm much more aggressive with them because they can take the heat
everyone's aim sucks at first. That's why we level up. I've got a maxed sniper with a scope that rarely misses, and its normally an overwatch shot when she does
I loved EU, but I can't imagine playing it now without the features added in EW. They new mission types break up the repetitiveness of the original, and there's no way I can properly express my love of the MEC units. Other tiny feature like multiple languages for the soldiers add that special little something as well.…
