I'm a current Xbox player and I'm still leaning PS4. Maybe even moreso with this announcement. Shows that the PS4 is a gaming console, not some hodgepodge box of things I already have in my living room that also could possibly play games if I were so inclined.

nope. my opinion is still the same. These changes actually make me more confident that the PS4 is a game console and the XBox One is some nebulous other thing that can also play games if that's what you're into.

very odd, because I think it is the best. Best story, by far the best acting. Best variety of gameplay and the best world to date. If you think this is the worst, I'm not sure what you are looking for in the game.

These videos are presented like skateboarding videos. The difference is only a very small percentage of people can do those tricks with just a few hour's practice.

I enjoy doing all those things too, I just fail to see the point in making a brag video about it. Doing those things yourself is very rewarding, but these lame brag videos are pretty much the same as watching a video of someone fishing.
