Hindenburg Trying to Blow Up Nikola
Imagine never going to a filling station unless you are on a road trip (assuming you can charge at home). Imagine never doing another oil change. Imagine never doing another brake change, and only really worrying about tires? Imagine not having to dump loads and loads of CO2 in the air over and over and over again.
The answer is that EV costs will come down because battery costs will come down, have been coming down. And once people realize that they don’t need to sell a car in 5 years and that an EV will last much longer than an ICE car with almost no maintenance things will sort themselves out.
Most countries are able to negotiate the prices of services which is why tests and procedures cost more here than in other similarly developed countries. And it’s oddly why we end of spending more on healthcare as a whole than other countries with universal care.
They need to get the younger buyers, especially those looking for a first car.
I’m curious if and when someone will build an electric car only race track. The neighbors will be less likely to oppose and it might signal a kind of rebirth in new racetracks.
I never thought I’d like cruising, but I found that I find sailing very relaxing. I love the motion of the ship, and I long for those now waters and being far from land.
The Tesla/Panasonic relationship has always interested me. I know Tesla has worked with Panasonic on battery formulation. Now Panasonic is hyping up it’s new battery, but I also know that Tesla is expected to start making their own batteries using their own technology. Is their exclusive relationship being terminated,…
The key is to make the video more attractive than text. If a text explainer is better than/equal to the video then maybe you only need the video as a supplement.
The batteries are what are keeping the price high. They fill them with higher end tech to try and push them into a luxury bracket. I don’t think you are going to see a sub $30k car until they can do it with a 250+ range car. Tesla has some big announcement on batteries in Sept and many are suggesting it’s about…
This might get lost in the comments, but I wanted to remind anyone trying this that preparation is everything, and if your floor is really old I reccommend diamond grinding the whole surface just to be sure because...
I just was traveling and had to stop at a rest stop to use the facilities while wearing a mask, obviously. Let me tell you that the mask somehow magnifies the bathroom odor and does not, in any way, suppress it.
A moment of silence that all of the Fauxarris and Lamborghinis that will never be, because of these senseless acts.
This reminds me of the awfullness associated with moving a large CRT TV. I had a 30"-er and when moving it was too heavy for one person, but too small for two people to move up/down stairs. It was a nightmare.
I remember the last of the CRTs at the beginning of the HDTV era. They had a 16:9 model with a flat screen. I…
Harris is really good and engaging. The problem is the other 2. And while we all like to talk about chemistry that is only one part.
Top Gear is all about the chemistry between the presenters. TG hasn't had it since the big 3 left. And those 3 are the reason that TGT is better than the new TG.
They seem to care about international viewership so maybe they should.
There is some virus or something going around. I dunno. I haven't been paying attention, but that may have something to do with it.
There is literally no reason NOT to keep your Model 3 for 10 years or more. The car doesn’t wear out. Anyone who runs their cars into the ground might not buy another car unless they break their own rule and just get bored. A lot of people get rid of cars because they perceive it is going to turn into a money pit.
