WIth any FOB there are only a few variations. The auto industry doesn’t have a unique key/signal for every motor vehicle. There was an article here of a woman who jumped into the wrong car and drove away. She had a rental and unlocked the wrong car with her fob and drove away. Took a while to sort that out.
