Comprehensive, which would cover this type of a situation (right?), isn’t very expensive. I would say its an essential cost of driving if you choose to or have to street park.

I’ve used many superchargers and never had any serious issues. The benefit of their network is worth so much and for many makes a Tesla the only option. I wouldnt recommend anyone who travels to use any other car right now, and probably for the next 3-5 years either.

Autopilot only allows people to nap at the wheel if you go out of your way to defeat its requirement of actively providing inputs to the wheel. More than a few seconds of hands off the wheel, or no measurable inputs on the wheel and the system will disable itself. Defeating it is akin to putting a photo of yourself…
It’s a hospital. It should lose money every time it treats a patient. The issue is that in America we are looking at health care as a for-profit industry. It shouldn’t be.
Sandy Munro, who makes his living tearing down cars and telling other automakers how much each part costs, thinks they are easily a decade ahead on batteries, controllers, and motors. And he was pretty anti-Tesla until he got to tearing down the Model 3's controllers and battery pack.
They have constantly changed prices. for 2018-2019 there was a change like every 2 months. They took away and reintroduced some forms of discounted supercharging multiple times.
