That’s both true and not true. They have the same motors, but it’s also true that they test the motors and the ones that reliably output more power because of manufacturing differences end up in the higher end cars. Not unlike how intel would pump out chips and then test how fast those chips will run and the ones with

That’s not the quote I would take away from that:

I like how the cars seem to be engineered to direct the force of a crash directly at the driver. The three wheeler delivers a massive uppercut.

When I watched the last season I noticed that the last guest on the show that season was the first guest he ever had. At that point I suspected that the show was over.

They’ll call him Bob for short.

This sounds exactly like something they’d try to build on Top Gear (halcyon days).

Actually it's priced way under what other EV pickups will be selling for. I was shocked how cheap it was. But yes, it is ugly

Speaking from ignorance.... Why not maybe rework the shifts and stagger certain groups by an hour or two so that there isn’t a big “load” on the sewage system?

You had me at Cressida.

I would think this would be a better article a year from now. I’m not sure if this is true for every manufacturer, but it seems like it’s a good bet that most companies making a luxury type automobile would start producing the vehicles with the highest profit margin first and not make the lowest end model until they

When I had my Sky some very uninformed person asked me if it was a Vette.

I owned a Sky for about 10 years. Loved the car. Loved it’s looks. There really wasn’t another car in it’s price range that I really wanted. It’s sad to see people throwing it under the bus, but too each their own I suppose.

I’m getting a strong Lada vibe myself.

Yeah if you have to drive for work and drive more than 200 miles a day, a BEV is penally not for you. But if you drive less than that typically then the BEV is your best friend. Very low maintenance and very low fuel costs.

I’ve taken several road trips and have driven for several hours at those speeds. I then get a bite to eat while I charge up. I find I enjoy taking road trips more now than ever.

If your daily average commute is over 200 miles then a BEV isn’t a good choice. I don’t think that use case applies to most people. If you can go out and come back home on a charge*, range only becomes a factor on road trips.

Yeah, this is why it’s a slam dunk law suit.

I like Tesla and this is objectively a shitty thing to do. I have to believe that if they sued Tesla (and they should) they would easily win, but would the attorney’s fees be equal to the amount they would have paid for the option in the first place?
