I would expect accuracy from a novel or anything written because you have that freedom. You don’t have that kind of leeway in a movie which has a mostly simple story to tell in a 110 minutes or so. Actually they can’t do anything to put you in harm’s way. The systems are basically idiot proof and if the littlest thing goes wrong, they have to call the people who where big boy pants to come and flip a switch to let them run the ride again.

It seems obvious to me that most of the people who leave them on think the yellow accent looks attractive. I’d bet the manufacturer introduced purple as a color that most would opt to take off.

That’s the thing. There is no usual maintenance. The battery coolant is supposed to be flushed every 4 years. That’s it.

This is not true. One of the main mission statements from Tesla is being safe, and it has the safest cars in the market. This is just Porsche trying to cover up why they can’t produce a motor or battery as efficient.
