Everything I read suggests that they can’t just spend money and steamroll Tesla. Tesla had a significant technological lead, and while VW is taking like they are going to step in and mass produce units from day 1 at a rate that will dwarf Tesla, I’m looking forward to seeing if they can actually do it.

They are selling more and now cars every quarter. They are rapidly building out a charging network, and service centers. They are about to start production in China. And they are about to start pricing their own batteries giving them total vertical integration.

I never got why Ford didn’t just set a piece and agree to build cars for anyone who wants to pay. Even if they just want to do one production run. Take all they orders, then build the cars. I just don't get it. Aren't they in the business of making money?

Yeah, looks like the center axle is taking too much of the trucks weight rendering the rear axle near useless. I wonder if they deflated the middle tires is they would get the traction needed to get up the hill.
I drive a Model 3 and now when I drive a rental or my wife’s ICE car I get mad when I take my foot off the pedal and it doesn’t slow down and I’m forced to brake when I coast to close to the car in front of me.
Engine sound is great, but so is insta-torque and being able to hear your tires screaming at the edge of traction.
