I’ve seen a bunch of articles showing that the 5 year cost of ownership of a Tesla Model 3 is cheaper than ICE cars sold in the low to mid 20s. And since the EVs don’t require much maintenance the costs are pretty low over the life of the car.

Don’t make the mistake is expecting reality from a movie. They always play fast and loose with the facts and experts in any field are always upset with inaccuracies that inevitably come up when they counter what the plot is trying to do, and especially when your average Joe went blink an eye.
