If this Corvette is the only C8 offered it has to be under $100k. You can’t go from offering a car you could buy base in the mid 50s and suddenly make the entry level over a $100. I’m thinking $70 -$80k with a $110k performance model.

And I bet you also skipped Matlock.

Maybe if they put round tail lights on it the anger might kind of balance out.

I don’t think it’s going to be easy. I think it’s a big risk, and I’m fairly certain Musk is talking pie in the sky figures.

Well, Uber and Lyft drivers have to eat and sleep and live. With no one driving the car, you are free to make any other money you want. It’s just a question of whether the car itself would make enough to cover its costs.

Well, you would obviously pay something, but that’s beside the point. I’m asking about people who believe you can make money. $100 bucks a day is $700/week, $2800 a month. What’s the payment on a $150,000 loan? Fuel costs are low. Maintenance a fraction of an ICE car... And this is all with you doing no driving at

I think what people tend to ignore is Musk’s premise that a Model 3 with paid for FSD today would instantly go up in value overnight if FSD becomes a real boy. Musk says companies would pay north of $100k for a car like that. If you paid under $60k then working FSD made the value of your car increase.

I think the key here is that IF Musk is right and a FSD Model 3 could make $200,000 in fares over its lifetime then if you want to buy one that has that capability how much would you pay now to make that money over time?

I couldn’t understand half if what Freddie was saying and if he used British slang I couldn’t hear it at all. Glad for the occasional subtitles on BBC America. I’m assuming they weren’t on the BBC version.

Now this is good information and makes sense. I wouldn’t really know exactly what to search for and these comment areas are at their best when people share info.

why would you ever write % when you could just use %?

It’s definitely a great idea. I wish I had the option of reversing flow on my car battery to keep my water pump on and fridge on during a power outage.

The question isn’t as much how much energy does the car store. That energy might be enough to power a house for two days BUT...

I’m sure any implementation of this would have a floor setting where the house won’t drain your battery enough where you couldn’t get somewhere else to charge it.

Most likely, yes; but I’m not sure I would bet that I wasn’t caught on someone’s phone video. I’m paranoid like that.

Oh, man. You are right. Wow, that’s pretty odd writing. I mean, why would the reader even expect to have a quote about a co-host.

The “He was fucking lying” line wasn’t directed at Kumail but at Andy for telling the audience that Kumail was going to be on the show 5 minutes prior.

If you are worried you have to figure out how much you can return so the cops look at it and say, “Ok, thank you citizen.” instead of giving you the side eye. I’m thinking maybe a little less than 20%.

RBs are one of the only positions where I’d almost always support a holdout. Most of even the good ones will only see a second contract because their careers are so short because they get beat to shit. Get paid and if you’re lucky enough and good enough to get a third big contract (and not a veteran minimum somewhere)

This is why I eventually came to the sobering conclusion that even if I had the chops to be a race car driver I’m not built to compete in the real world. To me the rules (an the spirit of the rules) are to be respected and adhered to lest we all devolve into chaos.
