My high school was private, with a loose uniform/dress code policy. Basically we had actual uniform polo shirts we all wore and bought from the school, but everything else was a slightly-stricter-than-normal dress code. The punishment for violating dress code in your shoes or pants or something was a week of dress…
I was waiting for you to say "It's an industry term". But CaptainMorganHartt beat you to it.
dead-on-balls accurate?
Gay people are sometimes less comfortable around straight people because we're justifiably worried about being humiliated (reporters), or beaten and murdered by strangers (Still happens! All the time!).
Tebow's gonna be caught with a 20-year-old Brazilian boy "Personal Assistant" 30 years from now, just you wait.
I put this in a reply, but I'm reposting it by itself for all the people who are like "Just go to sleep earlier!"
Because it's not just about how much sleep you get, it's also about actual wake-up times, which are governed by your body's melanin cycle as part of it's circadian rhythm. Most teens physically can't get to sleep earlier, and forcing them to wake up earlier goes against every hormonal signal their body is sending.…
Regarding the people saying friends #1 and #2 are trash, and in one comment "Sub-Human". I think we should all have compassion
This is off topic, but can I possibly get a Jezebel follow? I've been posting here for years and I'm sad that I'm right back to the greys. You can check my comment history, I'm not a troll or an asshole.
Pretty much only Catholics and "high church" Episcopals say the Hail Mary. The veneration of Mary is a much more uniquely Catholic thing than you'd think.
The second one
Latin girls too, which is how I knew about it.
I honestly didn't ask. My point is that saying "kids with pierced ears are tacky" is not an opinion that exists in a vacuum. It's born from racism and prejudice.
Just FYI, when I was in college and I met girls who didn't have their ears pierced (that was seriously the first time I had met some) several of them said they wanted pierced ears as children but their mothers wouldn't let them.
100% positive. It's a needle prick. The baby cries for a minute and is soothed by her parents. See comment above re: getting over yourself.
I cordially invite you to get over yourself.
1) I didn't realize that white people thought getting a girl's ears pierced was a big deal until I was fifteen. I'm from Miami. Every girl I knew (friends and family) got her ears pierced before she was six months old.
Woo! I got out of the greys on Gawker but not Jezebel like 3 days after the current system was implemented. I'm excited to have to work my way up again!
