Does it beep every time a car enters her blind spot? I had a rental X5 and I seem to remember that it only beeped and rumbled the steering wheel if I hit the blinker when it thought a car was too close (but I was driving in a congested city, so that just meant the steering wheel rumbled every time I changed lanes).

Scroll down and watch the video.

On the flip-side, blocking traffic for ‘reasons’ is also quite impolite. If this was a vigil being held in a quiet park where people shared memories of the deceased, then somebody driving by honking and waving a middle finger is being a dick. However, these people were remembering the deceased by yelling angry chants

I suspect that the charging just didn’t coincide with a politician’s use case. Most politicians seem to have very full appointment books, so he’s likely driving somewhere for a 30 minute meeting, then directly somewhere else for a 1 hour meeting, then to a new building for a 15 minute ribbon cutting ceremony, etc. If

I’m surprised they’re including Forza 5 instead of 6. 6 is a much better game and 7's releasing at the end of September, so I would think putting their best foot forward would make it more likely that people would buy 7 if they wanted better graphics and full multiplayer lobbies.

I agree that the Journey is a horrible vehicle, but I suspect it’s the cheapest 7 passenger vehicle on the market and it’s not a minivan. I just looked up the price and even I was surprised how cheap it was, so in a market where everybody thinks they need as much seating as possible and SUVs are cooler than minivans,

After watching that video, all I can ask is, was the pilot of the Guang Zhou Wan drunk? If you back the video up to the start instead of just before the collision, this huge ship is just weaving back and forth across the strait. It looks like he cuts off the Long Hu San, only notices at the last minute that the

Just went up at 1 PM EST on BB Canada. I managed to get one into my cart as soon as they were available but they were sold out before I could enter my CC expiry date. GG Nintendo.

The Jeep Jinx strikes again.

If the entity that owned the IP filed for bankruptcy, the IP should have been listed as an asset and either been transferred to a debt holder or auctioned off and the assets divided between the debt holders. If he tries to earn any money off of the IP, chances are the debt holders will file a lawsuit demanding any

All I want to do is choose a car, choose some options, get a fair price, and write a cheque. Why does a dealership need salespeople when a PoS terminal would suffice! I can understand having finance people on-hand to deal with financing, but do I really need to sit in an office while the only guy who’s allowed to fill

Fire is more dangerous than flooding on a boat at sea. It doesn’t surprise me that the people responsible for S&R operations don’t want people flicking smouldering ash in an enclosed space where oil and grime can build up. The exhaust is managed and routed out of the boat, but a bit of ash can float under the engine

I had a V6 626 with the 5 speed back in university. Asphalt grey with a grey interior. It was a salesman’s car so it had 400k on the clock when I bought it, and me and my dad managed to take it to over 500k before my dad sold it to some guys who were going to a demolition derby. It was fun to drive but it was hard to

Dictating things like minimum hours wouldn’t make sense for this union, but I could see them negotiating guarantees that drivers will be given equal opportunities to take fares while driving and being given the option to reject a fare that the driver deems too dangerous without negative repercussions from Uber. The

I’d imagine it’s a bit of a prisoner’s dilemma. Automakers want to build fuel efficient vehicles, but they’re more expensive or slower than the cars they currently offer. If everybody builds fuel efficient cars, buyers will shop based on price and features. However, if one manufacturer builds cheap, fast gas guzzlers

If only it could simulate scraping the skin off of your knuckles, or trying to start a bolt when your wrist is stuck and you can only move your fingers an inch at a time, or trying to maneuver that part into place which would be so easy if that damn vacuum hose wasn’t in the way, or losing the damn 10mm socket yet

I would argue that Chrysler were in an OK place during the 90s, post K-cars and pre-Daimler (except for automatic transmissions, but no NA manufacturer in the 90s had a good track record for autos). They were worse than the Japanese imports, but the quality was on-par with GM and Ford, and the cab-forward cars

I love cars. I love aggressively styled cars. I love loud engines. I love manual transmissions and heel-toe shifting. That said, right now I’m shopping for a replacement for my 325 and there’s a pretty good chance I’ll go with a PHEV. The reason? Guilt.

A 3 day rental around here costs about $250 for a compact to midsize (since the damn rental places never seem to classify cars correctly). That’s almost an extra lease payment per month just to go further than the car you already own can drive.
