No. Combat is directly lifted from the Batman Arkham games. The open world mechanics are very similar to Assassin's Creed. The nemesis system level up mechanics are all its own and a very original idea.

I disagree with your statement about trophy/achievements working at cross purposes to devs. There are definitely people that take it too far and are just playing for an easy platinum, but those people were likely never going to enjoy the game to begin with.

Agreed. Sony seems to have more first party studios, so I would assume that they have a lot up their sleeve that they are not showing right now. Given that sales for PS4 are so high right now, I guess that they think announcements can be held off for awhile. Still, Microsoft does have the better lineup at the moment.
