Not that it would happen in any reality outside of the most absurd; but I really hope they go with neXtBox only because it’s such a stupid name.

If they can capture the same whimsy and wonder of the Ghibli film, more power to them! Should that be the case I’ll be watching with a big, dumb grin on my face.

To my knowledge, Hollywood has only made one big budget anime-to-live action adaptation (Speed Racer). Which, while an admirable try, was a critical and commercial flop. After that disaster they’re probably none too keen on dropping a fat check on another anime-based flick.

“But at least being seen by some (I found Fish's latest comments funny) to be a mere jerk is interesting, and unlike most PR-massaged comments, at least we know he really means it.”

Hate? Naw, I think he’s quite an amusing character. I was making a jokingly joke-joke at Phil’s expense. I use glasses not too dissimilar to those. BTW, how do you even know I’m a guy?

I was joking (poorly). But it's always nice to learn something new. I too have horrendous eye sight and have been a prisoner to glasses since I was five.

Is that Tilda Swinton?! Oh, be still my beating heart! *fans self*

This is brilliant for those of us who fancy ourselves more visual learners. For those interested, David Chelsea’s Perspective! For Comic Book Artists is a great learning compendium regarding special relations. A great read even if you’re not an artist.

Even if a movie fails to grab me narratively or thematically, the concept art is almost always something I can endlessly fawn and fap over! I lament that my income doesn’t allow the purchase of more concept art books as this would have found its way to my modestly sized collection. These are all beautiful pieces and

Ah ha! So you admit to having a little faith before Airbender! A little bit? A tiny bit? A teeny tiny bit? No?

You neglected to mention the MMO spin off “After Earth, Before Mars” and the multiplatform release “Wrath of Raige.”

“…. I did assume he knew the theory of evolution.”

Got nothing but love and mad respect for dudes this crazy!

How would you even begin to open this without having the whole thing fall apart?
